DESCRIPTION:
Welch, Spring & Co., Forestville, Conn., "Patti VP", 8 day, time, strike and alarm spring brass movement shelf clock.
CONDITION:
Rosewood and rosewood veneered case in an original finish has some decay to the finish on the upper right molding and some loss on the bottom right edge. Paper dial has age darkened. Original movement, hands, Welch pendulum and tablet. Left finial has a piece missing on the base. The center finial has most of the flanged base broken off. Dark, but readable label on the back.
